Manufacturing Process

You took care in choosing the perfect ring. We take care in crafting it perfectly.

1. Design

Your ring can be as unique as you are. Keep your memories forever by choosing from our endless amount of options, and we’ll create the design.

2. Tool making

Using cutting edge computer technology and sculptured detail, your ideas are transformed into precise models and die molds to aid in the next steps of the process.

3. Wax Patterns

Using these models and die molds, a wax impression of the ring you designed is made, and the wax is adjusted to your finger size to ensure a perfect fit.

4. Cast making

Next, we pour plaster around the wax pattern, and let it harden. Then we melt the wax out of the plaster, leaving a perfect impression of your ring in the plaster mold. The metal you chose is then poured into the mold to form a perfect casting and hardened. This is when your ring starts to become a reality!

5. Chasing

The ring is then carefully cleaned by jewelry craftsmen to ensure all the details are perfect before your ring starts to get its final touches.

6. Stone Setting

Your ring starts to show personality as the gemstone you selected is then carefully set into your ring. It’s protected by our patented Cushionseal™ technology to ensure a secure fit.

7. Antiquing

Highlight the detail of your customized ring if you choose our antiquing feature. The background ring color is applied using a special coating, so your design really stands out.

8. Polishing

Using special operations, your ring gets detail highlighting, individually polished base letters, and a final gloss application to make your ring shine.

9. Engraving

The inside of your ring is then personalized with the phrase of your choice, using the latest computer technology.

10. Final Inspection

Even though we ensure quality throughout the entire manufacturing process, we take a special step to make sure your ring is everything you expect it to be. Your ring must pass a final inspection using strict guidelines before you can call it your own.
